This was an article about the early days of Sleepy Hollow published circa 1988

Plainfield’s newest Little Library, the second one placed by Cindelle Harris Blackmon (owner of Cindelle’s Bookstore) was dedidated on December 11, 2022.

It is located at 950 Mayfair Way, in front of the home of Tony and Kate Rogers.

Michael Faulkner, a Marine veteran and Bruce Zehnle, President of Sleepy Hollow Neighbors,

both residents of Sleepy Hollow presented our resident veterans with service flags

in honor of Veteran’s Day.

We are sincerely grateful for their service and sacrifice.
